GET A REACTION IN GLASS! PROJECTS

Explore the multitude of chemical reactions in glass and the effects of these reactions, which range from striking to subtle. Students will learn which glasses will create these reactions and how to incorporate the planned reactions into their designs. Additional techniques, recipes, and metal inclusions will also be reviewed. Instead of focusing on samples, this class will explore reactions as they occur in multiple projects. While prior glass cutting and fusing experience would be beneficial, it is not required.


Supplies: Masks are required in all fused glass classes when using glass powders.
