Crackle Weave, is a versatile structure, with many treadlings possible. Crackle is the perfect structure
for color play. Students will receive an email from the instructor, several weeks before class, with
choices for their threading, and instructions. Each student will weave on their own loom, in which to
make a sample. Students will need to have looms dressed, before class begins on July 22.
Supplies: Warp a FL loom prior to class, or bring a loom which has been warped. Threading drafts will be emailed to students a month before class. Use 10/2 or 8/2 or 5/2 cotton Also bring scissors, at least 3 shuttles, bobbins, note taking supples, and anything else you need for a weaving class. You will need to bring more of what you used for the warp, along with other yarns in colors to coordinate. These should be the same size as your warp, and a few a little heavier. Solid colors work best.
